Japanese Sword & Jujutsu

Sunday, February 8 | 10:00 – 12:00
Winston Heights-Mountview Community Association – Main Hall

This introductory experience explores how sword principles intersect with traditional jujutsu. Training focuses on efficient movement, balance, and coordination rather than strength, with accessible exercises for newcomers.

Kenjutsu

Monday, February 9 | 18:15 – 19:45
Winston Heights-Mountview Community Association – Main Hall

A beginner-oriented kenjutsu session designed to teach fundamental footwork, distancing, and strategy behind Japanese sword use in a safe, structured environment. Ideal for those curious about how traditional sword arts train awareness and movement.

Aikidō

Wednesday, February 11 | 18:15 – 19:45
Mount Pleasant Community Association – Upper Hall

This introductory aikido class focuses on core aiki principles such as timing, balance, and coordination rather than force. Participants will learn basic techniques and safe breakfalls in a supportive setting. No experience required.
